ROM Hack Amiibo .bin files injected into .cia?

Hi, is it possible to download the amiibo .bin files and use them for gateway without buying any other hardware? If so, how?

No as the chip is read and interpreted via nfc. There might be cheats that trick the game into enabling certain nfc related things but it isn't exactly the same.

proberly a silly question but this device do you physically have to own the amiibos? or that powertag thing you can put amiibo files on it so its like you have the amiibo. right now i only have the green yarn yoshi and chibo robo amiibos
