How did you start making mods for the Game Boy?

Well that's a bit of a sad story, but my brother Andrew died on March 5th of 2020 in a car accident, and I was in the middle of building him a new Gameboy as a gift... It had my childhood DMG motherboard inside, so it would have been pretty meaningful, but... I wasn't able to give it to him. So to kind of take my mind off things and keep myself busy, I started modding Gameboys as a hobby, and then started up an Etsy store to really ramp things up, and the rest is history.
