Hacking Am I understanding this right?

I'm reading from these instructions https://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-u-usb-loading-install-wiiu-games-to-usb-or-internal-memory.445514/ (under "installation") but I want to make sure this is the right section I should be following before I get started.

I have all the files for Mocha and Homebrew on an SD card. I also have the game/update/dlc files for a Wii U game on my laptop. Can I add the game files to SDroot/install and then plug it into the wii u and run wupinstaller?

Will this mean I need to open Mocha before I play each installed game or do I only need Mocha to install the game from the SD card and then it will appear on my Wii U homescreen when I'm not in the CFW?

Can I use HID to VPAD with games installed with this method?

You copy the folder the files are in to the install folder of your sd card. Dont just copy the files they need to remain in the folder they are in.

If your game is from the same region and has no dlc for it you won't need to boot mocha unless the game is Eshop only. All games thar are out of region or have dlc installed or are vc title's will need mocha to be run.

So if I plan to use DLC I will have to run CFW before launching? Otherwise it will just play the game without DLC?

Let's say I install MK8 this way and play it for a while (without using mocha each time) and then I decide I want to add the DLC. I would just use WUPinstaller to add the DLC from the SD card and then from then forward I always have to launch mocha to play MK8 (as long as u have the dlc installed)?

How does that affect save data?

Gotchu. So if I were to install BOTW without DLC, I could play through the whole game without ever needing to launch CFW. But then if I installed the DLC later, I would have to launch CFW everytime I wanted to play?

Could I use the same save data I used before installing DLC on the game once I install DLC or would I need to install the game and DLC all at one time to use the same save in both regular game and DLC?
