ROM Hack Am i ready for downgrading?

Since I bricked last time my device while updating my 3ds I'm really nervous to not do it again.

So I've got installed on my OLD 3DS XL 10.4 European version
1) Browserhax (not sure which version)
2) menu hax (not sure which version)
3) sysupdater 1.0 downloaded from here http://gbatemp.net/threads/wip-safesysupdater.409392/
4) Updates on SD card from this zip ''9.2.0-20E(Full)''.

Am I ready to press Y and downgrade it? I really don't want to brick another device.

I think you must reset your 3ds befor downgrading.

Use a proper sysupdater that can downgrade 10.4 to 10.7
Last version of HomeMenuHax is 2.2
Don't forget to use the browserhax bypass of yellow8

Even with the up-to-date sysupdater, you have a chance to brick your console (if the .cia are corrupted or something)

Formatting your DS is only required if you get repeated softbricks when attempting. It's not related to the update message.

If you got a softbrick, you can start your 3DS on recovery mode and update to 10.7 and do it again =D

Yeah, maybe you want to install Arm9LoaderHax

It's a hack installed on FIRM0 and FIRM1 that makes possible to have 100% boot rate and have a updated sysNAND with CFW and you can restore sysNAND even if it's bricked

The only part of the process that you have a (very low) chance of bricking is when you are getting the otp.bin on the ver. 2.1 of the 3DS OS
Now with the safeA9LHinstaller you can easily install A9LH

Hm I'm not really sure if i should install it. I had old 3ds with only cfw and i was really satisfied
