Homebrew Am I bricked?

So I went to update the system and I went to reboot and now get An error occurred: Failed to apply 1 FIRM patches. Press any button to shut-downshut-down. Any help would be great!

You use Luma? Update your Luma.bin .

I do use luma but it wouldn't update ,so I tried system update since it is supposed to be safe.

CFWs were broken last update, you have to update your Luma .firm to get up and running again.

I know what happened.
Download the latest release https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases
Put the boot.firm on the SD Card's root.
It should be booting, but not without the SD card.
You'll need to set luma up CTRNAND, But, I don't know if the script works if you do it twice.

As long as the console is booting, you're done. However, if you installed Luma to CTRNAND, you might want to reinstall it (you'll know if you put it in CTRNAND if the console doesn't boot without the SD).

Like, Luma Config? If so, press Start.

Ok, its working now after Installed the new Luma. So I take it luma can not be updated ota anymore?

It still can be, it's just if you can't turn on the console, then it can't be updated from the console obviously. Besides, there haven't been many stable updates recently.
