I've gotta say, I'm pretty darn excited about this.

also... you guys should check this out if you haven't already:

This actually wasn't part of the presentation at all, Nintendo just stealthily released this trailer about 10 minutes ago.[/MEDIA]

It looked much better than anticipated. I'll probably pick one up and regret it because something along the lines of Breath of the Wild special edition console will come out a month later.

They Probably Will XD, but hey, it still looks pretty promising.

Also... The item system could also be improved, considering they already added a couple of items back again (Boo and The Feather). it wouldn't surprise me if they also tweaked the overall item balance as well.

Play a few more maps with new characters for the low price of $59.99. Better yet maybe you can sell your Wii U with a copy of Mario Kart 8 and still not get enough in return to pay for the DELUXE version.

Maybe that is why Nintendo made the switch and started making mobile gaming titles. They rule handhelds and fall flat on there face with console efforts.

Control stock to drive up demand causing people to impulse buy when stock is replenished.

Remember the 3DS intial release (ambassador program). Nintendo has not had a great product launch since the Wii (10 years ago) and what have they learned? Apparently very little in my 2 cents from a distance.

Games sell systems and the Wii kinda ruined it for Nintendo. It is hard for them to find new innovation and they can't retreat to standard controller play (like MS and Sony) cause they don't have the developer support to compete. The keep rebranding hoola hoops hoping it will catch on again (bell bottoms and corduroys aren't coming back any time soon)

I am not so hyped until there is more 3rd party support but I am glad to know that it is a region free console. I will keep my eyes on this system, thought.
