Hacking al9h + gateway question

is doing al9h even worth it?
i mean, even when/if it's deemed 'safe' to do it, is it worth the time and effort to do it?
right now, just hold L-trigger to get into emunand; it's probably takes an extra 10 seconds to do this

second question
i haven't updated gateway in a while now, i'm looking at the 3.7.1 notes and it says emunand is good up to 10.4 and the current latest fw is 11
so i need to wait for the next version to update the emunand right

Yes, it is worth it. Your console will behave like a stock console, never need to worry about updating it anymore. And it is brick proof - no need for a hardmod to restore a backup.

And you'll be able to use your Gateway with a9lh. Stay away from Gateway's method if you don't have a hardmod as it's likely to brick you.
