dear unlogged-in user,
you do not need to express the use of the feature on the ds(i) as everyone knows the flash linker ak2.1 and 2i run on the ds and dsi. what is the point of making that clarification, all it does is add to the ascii count. getting to the point quickly should be the key to adding new information, not verbose implementations that can easily be disregarded by the reader. also you added "Most homebrew software can't support the soft reset feature" when in fact NO homebrew booted using akaio can be softreset. the feature is not implemented. norm tried for a few months to get it working with mixed results.

please do not add information that comes from your personal experiences and your limited knowledge base which is not a reflection of the general population.

norm did state that but someone would need to test it before we add it to the wiki. i'm much to busy right now to do this. if it was me i would fully charge my ds, boot a game using that mode and then let the intro play. however, i'm curious if the green loading text dma mode (quicksave) only uses more battery life when saving. if that is the case how can you really test that? you would have to play the same game, the same way (jumping at the same spot, killing the same enemies, etc), saving at the same points....

i guess we could add it to the faq if it was written in the following way.

'''*I swear my NDS/DSi has less battery life if I use the DMA-Quicksave mode, why?'''
There has been speculation that AKAIO's 3 DMA modes may drain the battery life differently. The following would be the order of battery drain from more to less: DMA-Quicksave, Old DMA mode, No DMA mode. Due to performance issues, it is not recommended to run ROMs without DMA. Instead to save battery life try unplugging your Slot-2 device and using a lower brightness setting.

how does that sound?
