Hacking AKAIO 1.5 Released

Oh my card, it has these three files now
xpa-mal3-cracked.nds
xpa-mal3-cracked.nds.sav(that was the save game)
xpa-mal3-cracked.sav(that is the new save it created when I put back in the card..so what should I do exactly..dont want to do anything wrong..appreciate your help!

The save should work now since its .sav

Do you know if your Acekard is a clone,I never really heard of the card not starting up if the icon is there.

yeah but now there are two .sav files on the card, the new sav file which has nothing in it, as if I am starting the game from scratch, and the old sav file which contains what I was playing til now..so what do I have to do

The save should work now since its .sav

Just take your old save,and a clean not patched copy of Mario and Luigi BIS,name the save the same thing as the rom,except dont add the .nds part. It should be a .sav and it should work perfect. Your file and all. So your old save should be renamed into xpa-mal3-cracked.sav

Ok so let me understand what your saying(its a good thing I am asking this now, so that I will know what to do in the future)
All I have to do is take the xpa-mal3-cracked.nds.sav file and rename it xpa-mal3-cracked.sav and it should work? Because I dont understand what you mean by taking out old save and a clean not patched copy of mario, I dont have a clean copy of mario, I only have what I downloaded

Has anyone tried the Wii connectivity yet? And where exactly do I find the globalsettings.ini ive looked in the aio folder a few times....im sure im overlooking it. I also read that when you enable the Reverse Alphabetical List sorting new roms go to the top of the list....is this true? Or does it just do what it says and puts them in reverse alphabetical order?

AWESOME, it works!! Thank you so much. Now I know what to do with other games if I have to do the same thing. Now I just have to figure out, ya know when you are playing a game and you want to go back to the Rom menu, how do I do that..I always used to be able to press A+B+the down button and the L key but it does not work..I went into system options in the Acekard but I dont see the option I have to change in order to do that. Thanks so much for your help. I Really appreciate everything you have done for me

Im so happy I could help,I like to help,now for the Soft reset I heard it never changed,just hit start and go to system options,you can find it in there somewhere,or you can also mess with rom settings to turn it on. Well good luck and enjoy your game.

Sweet, it works, I didn't have to change anything, just for some reason the Mario/Luigi game, when I do the same code, it just goes back to the home screen for the mario game, but does not go back to the rom menu, its all good. Now at least with this fix, I can press save and quit and it actually quits

obviously backup your roms, saves and skins first

There's an easy way to use your old saves.

Start>System Options>File system SEttings>Save ext.

On the save ext you change from .sav to .nds.sav
