Hacking AK2loader folder vs. loader folder

Ive been reading the wiki and can't seem to find any info about the differences. I got the latest AKAIO loader though and overwrote the one that was in the /loader folder because thats where I'm thinking it belongs. My /ak2loader folder is empty. Is that where the back ups go or something?

ak2loader = the ofw for the ak2 files that can be used as a loader (we all know the ofw is crappy so don't bother)
loader = loaders for how akaio handles games

So I don't need to mess with it?

And backups can go anywhere is what I've been reading... This is just like wii homebrew stuff.

I think ofw means official firmware

Yeah original firmware or the ones made by acekard in this case. Anyways yeah anywhere but I suggest you make a folder on the root called games and put them there.

Looking at about T-minus 1 min for a first boot up wit da games. It already loaded the card fine. Now its on to the games!

EDIT: And fail, it doesn't show anything at all under microsd:/

Careful! "Anywhere" is a bit misleading. Do NOT put files you want access to in the _aio folder (games, etc) as this folder is hidden. I suggest what BoxShot said: make a Games folder in the ROOT of the card!
