Hacking After installing CIOS Rev 17

I have a 4.1u Wii and after installing Rev 17, NSMB and Metroid Prime Trilogy stopped working in the disc channel. I had rev 14 before that. I tried recovering my wii to my nand but that didn't help either. I installed rev18 and still no luck. I tried restoring trucha and now NBA 2k10 will ask me to update to play it. Would installing 4.2 help the issue?

Just a suggestion. If you got the rev 14 installed and everything was working, why not install rev 14 back? I have been reading in some places, and it seems that installing a new version just erase the other.

Thanks for the suggestion but I recovered my nand with the one that had Rev14 installed or it might have been 13. And it still didn't work.
