Well, after almost 2 years, I finally told the girl I like that I like her. I just sent her a semi-long message on Facebook, because I don't know her phone number. She knows I exist, and we are friends, but we haven't talked for a good year or so. Sure, the occasional Facebook chat or whatever, but nothing deep or serious.

I'm not expecting her to like me though, so I am prepared for the worst. I'm just going to be honest...Most girls (Even people I just want to be friend with) don't/wouldn't like me because I'm fat. Yeah, people should like others for their personality, not looks, but in today's world, that's pretty damn hard to do. Honestly, I don't care what a person looks like, but I'm not going to have a relationship with someone I can't bear to look at.

The girl I like is always nice to everyone, she's beautiful, and we share a lot in common. Music interests, activities, and some video gaming (She doesn't really play them, just occasionally).

I'm going to go to sleep and hopefully when I wake up, I'll have a response to the message. I'm not worried anymore if she likes me or not, because it's one person. I just want her to be honest with it though, and not lie about something.

I'll post the outcome I guess...

Good Luck!

Good luck! I am 294 pounds of pure man, and I was surprised when my girlfriend asked me out. Things can happen, so just keep some hope!

Fatties are not doomed to a miserable life.
You just need to learn the one rule that if life is going to be a beach, that you just need to be a bastard.
You might need to hurt a few people along the way to success but once you achieve that ultimate goal then that is all that matters.

If she says yes then I will be amused at the fact that not all slender, good-looking girls/women aren't all stuck-up hoes.

If she says no then I guess that makes me not in the wrong, just sayin'.

Well it don't matter what I say or do or who's ass I kiss, haters are gonna hate, fans are gonna rave, and furs are gonna yiff. >:3

...so.... if she doesn't sleep with every single man who wants to sleep with her... she is a hoe?

I think your logic is way off... surely it should be the other way around....

What do you mean by "today's world"? The world has always been the same. Looks have always been an important part of it. The only thing that changes is the look that people are attracted to. At one time being fat would have been considered desirable because it was a sign of wealth.

Everyone makes a superficial first impression. And first impressions are important. So looks are important for the initial hook.

I completely forgot I made this topic, but then again, she just responded today. The response was neutral, so it wasn't bad, but not really positive. See, she recently broke up with her boyfriend, but that was like 3 or 4 weeks ago from what I recall, and she said in the message that she's trying to get over it, and isn't really thinking of another relationship with anyone right now. I can respect that, so it's not really a big deal to me.

From what I remember, she was dating him for roughly 2 years, so I could see why she's still torn over it, but I don't know if she's really being truthful about it. She did say she was happy that I told her, so maybe she does like me, unless she's lying.

Oh well, maybe the future will hold a positive outcome for this.
