Hi Guys, Im new to the 3ds cfw.
I managed to get my hands on a o3ds 9.4.0, I followed Plailect guide to the t, everything was going fine.
I managed to downgrade to 9.2.0, backup the sysnand and so on, the issue ive had is the rednand, I followed the steps and it seemed to be going fine, I created the rednand on the sd card, allowed luma3ds to boot it, checked in settings and it said sys instead of ver.
I followed step 8 making sure it said sys, went to system update, allowed it to update, waited for it to finish, everything seemed ok until I checked settings and it now says ver 11.0.0-33, for whatever reason it looks like it updated the sysnand and not rednand.
What did I do wrong, I can still access hbl but emunand9 and luma3ds will no longer boot.
Is my only option for a hard mod to flash the sysnand back to the 3ds.
One last thing I would like to mention, when I put the sd card in my computer its asking me to format it, when I put it in the 3ds hbl can see the files fine.

- Press Y to format your SysNAND (Don't worry, everything is still saved on RedNAND)
- Go through initial setup without linking your Nintendo Network ID, you want it to remain linked only to RedNAND to prevent issues
- Reinstall menuhax on SysNAND as the format will have removed it
- Boot RedNAND
- Open System Settings
- Make sure your DNS settings are on Auto-Obtain
- If you do not see "Emu" in front of the version number, then you are not on RedNAND. DO NOT UPDATE, FIND WHAT WENT WRONG
- Update your RedNAND to the latest version using System Settings by going to the last page of "Other Settings" and selecting "System Update" (Once you exit System Settings / SD Card Management you will be returned to SysNAND, make sure to enter back into RedNAND before updating!)
- As your 3DS is setup right now, you must launch Luma3DS from the Homebrew Launcher every time you want to boot RedNAND; by the end of the guide you will boot into CFW SysNAND by default instead of having to use RedNAND
