game consoles and other electronics use nand but they don't get used a lot. If you play games from it you get a lot more use out of it then other stuff that don't use it that often.
ok, just be aware that that's in the area of 'paranoia', and not 'good idea'well do as you like. I prefer emunand since i can change my flashcard when it decides to break down.
don't underestimate the power of China. When they decide to do Chinese companies will probably mass produce clone batteries so lolThe battery will die long before the nand. Twenty years from now most 3ds's will have functioning nands but finding replacement lion batteries may be a trouble spot.

Nintendo's US online store is still selling (almost) all batteries going back to the GBA SP. The only one they're not selling is the original DS battery, but that's basically the same as the GBA SP battery, with the only difference being a plastic tab.The battery will die long before the nand. Yes just follow the guide:I'm on OFW 6.0.0-12U SysNAND 2DS, and running CFW 11.1.0-34U EmuNAND. Am I eligible to use a9lh?
Yes just follow the guide:

Thank you. I am currently reading this guide and I am afraid to do it tbh. xD
But I want to try it and brag it to my friends.
Question.
1. If I use a9lh, will my OFW be updated? or will stay at 6.0.0?
2. Can I still use my emunand?
Maybe I'll ask again on next reply.TY VM.
1. You will be on the latest firmware 11.1.0-34
2. Yes you can, but as the guide stated, there is no need since you will be using SysNand.
The guide is not really that hard to understand, but I understand you being afraid since this is your first time doing it.
only 9sec for me on my 128gb micro sdEven with my 128 GB SD, I still get a decent boot time of 15 seconds. Worth the extra wait time for more space. It's much faster than you'd think, especially if you turn it on mindlessly.
Overall, it's not necessary to install A9LH at all, don't let people show off and brag about it. They're just happy that they didn't brick in the process.
For most users, especially newcomers, menuhax + Emunand is all you'd need.
1. 11.1.0-34 CFW but on SysNANDYeah, my first time doing it.
1. 11.1.0-34 CFW or OFW?
2. Can I downgrade to any fw version?
Sorry If I ask too many questions.. Please guide me, TIA.![]()

Nvm. I'm drunk.1. 11.1.0-34 CFW but on SysNAND
2. Did you mean SysNAND? If yes, I think you can as long as you have the correct firmware files.

1. CFW
2. Once you're in updated sysnand using a9lh, there's no need to downgrade.
YepThanks so much. I'm learning more from great people. Ty bunch.
Cool, I am so excited to do it now.
One last question. Is the NANDmin.bin that I back up is my current OFW 6.0.0-12? And in my understanding, I can restore this if some shit happens?
TY VM.![]()
Yes, it is the backup of your 6.0 sysnand backup. You can also restore your 11.0 emunand after you installs A9LH, so you won't lose everything you have so far. The emunand backup and restore section is in part 3 of the guide. Thanks so much. I'm learning more from great people. Ty bunch.
