I like it it has unlockable characters

there is an arcade version?
can it be played on the Vita?
Yep. cps2psp 2.3.1 for firmware 3.xx works good fine with arcade cps2 games. Theres also cps1psp and mvspsp for cps1 and neo geo arcade games and they all run in adrenaline. For mvspsp, you can use the psp slim version of that emulator to save some memorycard space. All the same characters, minus onslaught, are playable on the arcade version of the game.

If you are using A psvita tv, set the display output options in settings to anything but 1080I Or adrenaline won't run at 60FPS. This only applies to anyone using anything but the official graphic filter. Since v4 removes official filter, you either set display anything but 1080I for 60FPS or don't use v4 until a fix is made. In V4 you can change the screen size of the psone games that was added in the update, so even without official settings, adrenaline can use full screen mode now.

No my friend, Im using a Vita Slim.

For a neasy example, find a small game lile Mortal Kombat 2 (60mb), then run it in any Adrenaline and see for yourself how it skips frames when the cpu ladder is scrolling down. Also test the delay on inputs.

did you set clock speed to 333MHZ in the cfw setting? Then again, i wasn't using unofficial psone made games

After starting a ps1 title under Settings menu - Open Official Settings - Memory Card Utility

How exactly is the memcard utility used? Have been trying to copy retroarch save files using cwcheat but can only get it to work on psp games not ps1 ones.

Can anyone tell me if Adrenaline lets you run PS1 games on a PSTV with 2 player support? Also, if both analog sticks are supported?

rename the retroarch save from srm to mcr and put the file in pspemu/seplugins/cwcheat/mc, make sure that cwcheatpops is loaded up, load the save from the cwcheat menu and load the game like normal. If cwcheat cant load the memory card file then rename it to whatever title id your game is using.
Chroco cross is SlUS010410 so you rename it to slus_01041-0.mcr

Still no luck. Pops loader works and returns OK! when tried but no change.

This is what my .txt files look like. Maybe there's a mistake there.

Are you trying to load a different popsloader? I thought adrenaline didn't support outside versions of popsloader and only uses the one built into the system.

No, is not possible. It was never designed to run 2 player games unlike ps3 does.

Hi!
This is how I converted my Breath of Fire 4 save from retroarch to adrenaline.

Download to computer the save I wanted to convert renamed from BOF4.srm
Rename BOF4.mcr to title_id-1.mcr (example: "SLUS01234-1.mcr" and upload to ux0/pspemu/seplugings/cwcheats
Start the game
Go to the game's load/save screen, stop before it try read the memory card
Load the mcr file using cwcheats
Load the save in game (enter the menu where it read the memory card).

By renaming to titleid-1.mcr your save will be located in the second memory card slot. To have it in the first slot, use 0 instead of 1 in the name, but it will overwrite your old saves.

Hope it helps

Sometimes i forget that cwcheat has a memory card manager. I been using my ps3, i used my ps3 for epsxe save conversion, it worked quite well. :)

I can't really help in response to retroarch users since i don't use it, but i assume tools like the one i posted before works.
Nice choice for a game, had breath of fire 4 for my psp since it was on playstation store day one. :ninja:

So does anyone know how to access the memory card manager with out of region ps1 games? I can't seem to do so for some reason Even though i can save and load with no issues.

Haven't heard of a built in popsloader. I reinstalled adrenaline-4 after your mention and it didn't create the files nor is it in the Recovery Menu.

I wanna see some proof.

"There are two ways to do local multiplayer depending on if the game supports it.

The PSTV can hook 4 controls at the same time. Some Vita games allow multiplayer this way, like Badland: Game of the Year Edition where a controller can be set to a number and each player can have a controller. However, not many games support this type of multiplayer.

For games that don't offer this, you have to use two systems. Basically have a downloaded version of the same game on two systems and go into Ad Hoc mode and do local multiplayer that way."
