Adobe Photoshop: Could not complete request because of a program error

Greetings.

I have a problem with my Photoshop .psd file which was created six month ago.
When i try to open it i get an error message "Could not complete your request because of a program error"
Can anyone provide some direction on how to troubleshoot this?
How to fix damage psd file?

and everything else is ok? your photoshop works, other psds are ok?
maybe you can upload and see it it happens to other people too.


let's hope you haven't spent hours and hours discovering an exploit in photoshop with your specially crafted psd, that will give you full control over who ever helps you out

Yeah, do this. Have you tried opening it with other programs that have PSD support like GIMP?

Yes..other psd file are ok.
I haven't tried other programs. I will try GIMP.

Look in your Photoshop preferences folder for the file PSErrorLog.txt
(Library/Preferences/Photoshop CC Settings/PSErrorLog.txt)
That file is a log of program errors - it doesn't catch everything, but with luck it'll catch this error.
Copy the last few lines in that file and post them here.
