turns out they started playing ads THROUGH adblockers I guess, idk I switched from uBO to AdNauseam and I haven't seen any video ads, then again, AN hides ads rather than blocking them entirely, so idk.
edit: I use FF for anyone wondering

I don't watch YT on pc anymore, only on my phone (ReVanced) and sometimes on SmartTubeNext on ATV. No issues on either.
Last time i checked on Brave i didn't see any ads, don't know if it still the same or it changed..

YouTube's warning showed up again, but after purging the cache and updating, it then reloaded fine.

Google/YouTube has decided to go to war and a war they've already lost.

Had to update uBO again today and I guess it's gonna be like this, but it just takes a few secs and then the videos are ad-free again.

This is a pointless "war."

The fact they can detect if we use ad-blockers mean they've invaded our privacy as they did not ask for our consent, and if they do and we decline then... You know the answer, but it's more straightforward.
