It's possible (probably), but I don't think you'll find premade models. You'll have to make your own.

EDIT: I know this contradicts my last post, but I changed my mind. Oh well.

Short answer: you can't.

Long answer: You need to either need to get a hardmod or find someone else with a CFW'd 3DS to do the DSiWare Downgrade.

Honestly, a hard mod is the best way to go here (in my opinion, at least). You don't have to do any work to get it installed (just ship it off to someone reputable), and when it gets back, the downgrading process is actually somewhat short (compared to the DSiWare Downgrade).

The amount of money varies by the person doing the hardmod.

Would you rather spend $50 for the hardmod or buy a new 3DS that's 3 or more times that price?

This can also be achieved by editing the romfs as mentioned earlier. Not exclusive to cfw. Just need to remove models.

I only removed the head because I'm lazy, but you can technically make the entire player invisible with a Hans patch this way.

Use coordinates modifer to travel north and then you'll be under the acres but you'll be invisible to others since you can still interact with everything, so it'll appear as a ghost is in their town. However you can't see anything unless you sneak with the net.

It would be easier though if their was a cheat developed that is similar to the LeafTools version
