I was experimenting with time travel in acnl, so I decided to set the date to 12/31/2099, but it crashed on me. I've tried restarting it, re-setting the RTC date&time, reinstalling GodMode9, checking old forums, but nothing works. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Yes, you can probably refrain from writing "PLEASE HELP!" in your thread titles when you would like assistance.

I decided to set the date
What date? How did you set it? The date in ACNL, or the RTC date, or the date in System Settings, or what?

it crashed on me
Does "it" mean ACNL, or your 3DS? Does that mean you're getting an error message, or seeing a blank screen, or what?

Details, details...

Sorry about that, I kind of panicked when it happened yesterday. I'll make myself clearer. I set the date in the system settings to 12/31/2099, and my 3ds showed me an error screen that says:

An exception occurred

Processor: Arm11 (core 0)
Exception type: prefetch abort (svcBreak)
Fault status: Debug event
Current process: menu (0004003000008F02)

When I shut it off and on again, it shows me the same error message. I can still boot into Luma3ds and GodMode9 on load up.

As far as I understand, you can wait 24 hours and the console will rollback to year 2000 fixing the issue. Alternatively, just remove the battery to reset the date.
That makes sense, thanks! I'll wait it out.
