I downloaded a few furniture mods for ACNH but I really like the items they are replacing, so I was wondering if I can change the item they are replacing somehow and swap for things I don't like. I don't know how it works but I know the mod files need to have the same name as the item they are replacing. Does that mean that if I rename the mod for the specific ID of the item I don't want I will have the modded furniture in that unwanted item? I haven't tried it because I'm afraid of crashing the whole game but It sounds too easy to be true. Can someone shed some light on this? Thanks!
