Hacking ACEKARD2 cheats help

Oh no! I just phoned my friends which have the acekards 2.1 and they have confirmed it doesn't work ! They've downloaded the clean unpatched version of GTA Chinatown and AKAIO 1.5 firmware using Narin's USRCHEAT.DAT, .XML and CHEAT.DAT, which all do not come up when Action Replay is enabled...

Can anyone give me step to step instructions please? Then I'd be able to see where we went wrong. Thanks in advance.

a loader makes more games work on the acekard to use it you must copy ak2loader.nds to the loaders folder in the aio folder on your sd

I use a clean rom with AKAIO 1.5 and Narin's usrcheat.dat and i have no problems to make it work.
Game and cheats works great you must have done something wrong.

if there are cheats in the cheat database but no cheats show up on your game, check your game's Game ID with R4CCE and compare the game id for the game that's in the cheat database and make sure both game id matches

I've had the "No cheats in DB" happen on my AK2i once. I had to tap the "rebuild" option in the individual game cheat settings (push the Y button/Tap Cheats/Tap Rebuild) to get the Cheats option to work under the Start Menu. Not sure why it was doing that but it fixed my particular issue.

Don't expect the newest games to have cheats yet since the current cheat database is some weeks old now.

Also don't forget to enable Cheats in general under the System Settings.

Yeah, the cheats work on my DSTT but not on my Acekard.

Are you using the clean rom or a patched? I'm using the patched version of Arm7 and also tried a 'supposedly working wifi version'.

I've done that and it still doesn't work... dunno why, but you've got an Acekard2i, and I've got an Acekard2, so i don't know but i'll try it again.

I've done that and it still doesn't work... dunno why, but you've got an Acekard2i, and I've got an Acekard2, so i don't know but i'll try it again.

Did you only try with a clean rom ?
there's no need to use the patched version of Arm7 with AKAIO

The only reason I used the patched version was because I firstly played it on my DSTT. It now works, with awesome cheats! Thanks to all and everyone for all the help
