Hacking Acekard RPG NAND heat

Is it just mine or is it normal for the area below the usb connector right about where the "ac" is in acekard to get really warm... not "hot" just noticably warm? warm like a laptop on your lap

Searched around here and only seen reports of the acekard2 microsd reader getting hot... but not the RPG NAND

Edit: oh and it is a gradual thing, been 5 minutes this time and just barely noticable... talking about after a half hour or so (room temp is COLD up north here atm)

My RPG gets hot too! I have it in for like.... 30 mins? Im usually just loading skins on it, but dang!

All electrical components heat up, and usb creates a fair amount of heat in the akrpg.

Just seemed hotter then "normal", i.e. my 3 year old complains it burns him... it's tolerable to me though. Wroked out well.. he dont wanna reach up and grab it anymore
