Hacking AceKard 2i FW question

hi im new to the whole flash card thing and i am ordering a AK2i within the next week ,so my question is what FW would you reccomend to a new user,i was looking at AKAIO but others have told me go with the offical FW i can't figure out which i should use so any help would be appreciated.
