Are you using a Dsi running the 1.4 firmware
In that case you needed to update your cart on a pre 1.4 dsi or dslite/original

DSi 1.4 block flashcarts but occasionally some will work but with many errors

If this is the case Download this

You can try it on a dsi 1.4 if it loads but is highly unreccomended as you may brick your cart which requires a ds lite or ds original(not a pre 1.4 dsi as far as i know)

I did check the CRC, and trimmed (with NDSTokyoTrim) it has the same CRC as the European ROM which i've had no issues with. So the ROM is good, and your MicroSD card isn't corrupting the data.

I'm pretty sure my card is legit, cause I bought it in late July and it has no window. It has spring released MicroSD slot.

Last attempt at a bump...

My step sis put her legit copy of super mario bros in my sisters DS. It didn't work. It too got to the nintendo splash screen, and on the black transistion to the main menu it froze and remained frozen.

If legit games aren't working then it's probably the DS itself that's broken. The only other possibility is to do the 'paper wedge' thing to increase the amount the contacts are touching each other on the cart.
