Hacking Acekard 2i Danny Phantom Icon Fix?

has anyone been able to fix it from saying danny phantom on the acekard 2i after the firmware upgrade? i know i only see it for a few seconds when i turn t on but its pretty annoying

No and it will always stay there until the Acekard team changes it. Which is not likely since it is used for bypassing the 1.4 firmware.

You can change it from what others have mentioned, hence the edited post.

You can actually change it yourself but it requires lots of work on 'cracking' the firmware.

In short, just close your eyes and mash the A button to start it if you don't want to see it.
Or use the auto start feature.

Or, hell go back to NDL. It has the proper AK2i icon

My friend can get rid of his icon, but it comes back on each DSi restart. All he does is remove the Acekard 2i and puts it back in and it looks like the Acekard logo. Then he sold his DSi so save up for a 360... What a sport.

In order to work on DSi firmware 1.4, a flash carts needs to identify itself as an already-existing game (at the time of the DSi's release). Different carts use different game icons, but they usually choose a non-nintendo icon to try to avoid a lawsuit.
