Hacking Acekard 2i 3DS update

Try deleting stuff off the microSD like in this post:

I foud a way to make it work:

-dl ak2ifw_update_3ds_v1.nds
-put it on the micro sd
- used my phat to launch the file and update (had no error: 100% and powered off the phat)

after that the flashcard wasn't working anymore. The icon had become the japanese weird thing and when trying to launch it i just got a black screen.

So i erased everything from the micro sd (only firmware related, not the games, including the ak2ifw_update_3ds_v1.nds) and installed the new akaio firmware.

Now it's working on my 3DS smile.gif

Tried it and nothing.
Tried it in a DSL and it boots up a lovely white screen on each screen.

Does that updating from 1 card and then putting in the broke/bricked card work?

Works perfectly..now I just gotta get hold of a 3DS..which I will be purchasing very shortly..I have the DSi XL, I put in the update file, the card shows up in japanese though so I dont know if that will be the case when I put it in my US 3DS..but even if it does who cares its a minor issue and not a big deal at all

The update said my hwid was 8181
progress stayed at 0% for 5 minutes so I turned my dsi off
the cart is now blank

you bricked it man you need to run the program on another cart then take it out and reflash it with the older 1.4.1 update file

did it, fixed. updated to 3ds one too while i had the dsl.
working gud.

works fine on my end just used my empty 2gb micro sd with only _aio folder akmenu4.nds and the dsi version of the update to avoid any problems and then stuck my 4gb main card back in boots and plays games just fine on my DSLite.
\will test it on my 3DS when i get it later today.
EDIT: working fine on 3DS

It failed, when it works the progress % starts right after confirming. It takes about 30 secs to update.

Yep, the Acekard 3 is fake. Don't purchase it.

Of course it is. The box says, 'acekard.cc'. Acekard.com wrote an article a while ago saying that they have only one website.

Looks like I won't be testing my 2i on the 3DS later today. Oh well that is why I still have my XL and DSL.

Update it, stability becomes better (I had a few crashes on my Jap 3DS before I updated it :eek: )

It doesn't block flashcards

The thing I don't like about this is it uses a Japanese game for a USA system, and in the activity log a bunch of people playing a JAPANESE game for MANY hours really singles you out, how many people in America import?
