Hi,

So im pretty newb to the flashcards for 3ds. I bought a 2i the other day, but wheni received it, it says ver 2.1 in blue on the logo sticker on the cartridge.
When i popped it in my new 3ds i do see the deep labyrinth digital bros logo. Since its already updated to the new 4.3.0-10E i cannot use it.
But now my question, is this 2.1 version basically the same as the 2i? or is there definately a difference?

So when the update comes from Acekard, can i use that for the 2.1 card i supposedly have?

Regards,

NIels

the ak2.1 came out before the 2i. there is no ak2i that says 2.1 on the sticker.

does it have an anti-counterfeit code sticker on the back? if so, please verify if it is a legit ak2i. it is possible someone stuck the wrong sticker on the front, but also possible that it is one of the 2.1 clones that worked on the dsi. those cards are rather rare, i never did get my hands on one to document it.

you might want to read this:

here is info on the anti-counterfeit code sticker:

First of all thanks for your fast reply.
It looked brand new. the sticker on the back was still there. tested it, and came up 15 times apparently. So its an older code..:SI am not sure what to think of it. I
doubt i get my money back seeing usually those sites are not to keen on that.
I dont really mind its not a 2i, as long as i can use it when AK found a way to bypass the 4.3.0 and it also works for this card..:)

you won't know if its a 1:1 clone with an incorrect sticker until you try to update it. either that or take it apart and take some photos of the PCB. what we do know for sure is that your card is a clone, as the code has already been checked 15 times before.
