Hacking Acecard 2i questions

I have a 3DS (updated to the latest firmware) and I want to use my old acekard 2i with it. Obviously I can't use it in its current state. I have a bit of extra cash, so I was wondering: am I able to just buy a brand new acekard 2i from a dealer? Will it be preloaded with the latest firmware? I don't have access to an older DSi to fix the acekard's firmware.

some shop will update it before they ship it out, just email the shop you want to buy it from and make sure they update it before sending it to you

make sure you got to acekard.com and see recommended resellers or else you might end up with a fake

why don't you borrow a DS/DSi from your friend and update your old Acekard 2i

And yes, some resellers have pre-flashed for you, you can request it before purchase...and also find a trustworthy site.

Email the seller before you buy, though you could just borrow a DSPhat/Lite/i from a friend.

They say on that page that their Acekards are already preupdated for 3DS 2.0 so I ordered one today as I unfortunately updated my 3DS before my old Acekard and have no access to a DSI or Lite.

i think many of them can provide pre flashed cards since the firmware has been released for 2 weeks !
