So I'm in case one, the 2nd investigation in the hallway. Up to the part where you figure out Maggey only pretended to lock the door, what do I have to point out in the door as a contradiction? I feel safe in saying I've examined everything. (I retrieved the book from under the couch if that helps anything)

your lucky that i got past that part. you search the door and then you check the plate and the doorknob. then sooner or later you'll get a option to look down the door and look at the paper. and then check the basketball and the bottom of the basketball hoop.

Lol It hit my like a ton of bricks right after I posted the thread, sorry for not using spoilers by the way

Edgeworth's and Portsman's doors had identical numbers! So I presented the door at the doorknob.. Even though that wasn't the contradiction it helped haha

working on 2nd case now, thanks for your help
