Hacking about update 4.1

aren,t suppose to fix hack changes? i discovered that my brothers update my wii via nintendo to 4.1, and i was like "damn i lost the bug", so i tried to install an wad file,and.....HOLY SHIT it installed, how come, i mean isn,t any nintendo update suppose to fix this bug?the trucha bug?

If you used Trucha Bug Restorer/Dop-IOS to put the Trucha bug back into your IOSes, no. The Wii compares the reported IOS version to the one on Nintendo's update servers. If the version on your Wii is greater than or equal to the version on the update servers, the IOS will not be touched.

If you had a cIOS, it would not have been overwritten, because Nintendo does not have anti-cIOS measures yet. (Besides fixing the Trucha bug.)

A no-downgraded-IOSes 4.0 to 4.1 update does not touch any IOS. It was simply a System Menu hotfix for Wii Sports Resort... it didn't even squash Bannerbomb.
