Now if Megaupload was shut down to try to "stop piracy", doesn't making millions of people say "ARRGH!!!!" seem counter-productive?

I don't know if my source was truthful (because its often a terrible and biased place for news) but apparently theres more too the MegaUpload situation other than to stop people from using it as a piracy tool. Apparently the founder is being accused of more things other like credit card fraud, embezzlement, or inside-trading.

If thats really true, then MegaUpload deserves to be shutdown. If not, and all MegaUpload is guilty is copyright infringement because of what it's users/visitors are using the site for, then thats not ok. Thats like going after google because its a tool that can be used to find anything.

..By the flimsy wording of that bill, selling a couch on craigslist or Gamestop selling a used game could be considered piracy.
