I am tring to buy my ak2 at Leetmod.com and here are my questions.

1.Are they reliable?
2.If i got defective Ak2 would they pay for the shipping to send it back?
3.How long does it take to ship it to U.S.A
4.Are the items in Leetmod.com not fakes or defectives?

They do appear to be US-based, though. The safest way to get a real AK2 is gonna be to order it from Dealwoot, Realhotstuff, or DealExtreme (if you're patient and/or a cheap-ass)

I've ordered from leetmod.com. They are reliable, and they test the carts before sending them to help ensure that you get a working cart. For me, shipping took 2 days.

You should e-mail them with your other questions. I've found that they answer their e-mail relatively quickly.

You'll need to e-mail them and ask if they have the Acekard 2.1 with the black PCB or the older ones.

I prefer the Acekard 2 to the Edge. The Acekard 2 has a nicer menu, and also happens to be significantly cheaper than the Edge.

If you want the best price but don't care about shipping time, order from dealextreme.com (it will take 2 to 3 weeks to ship). If you're willing to pay a bit more for fast shipping, leetmod.com is a good place to order from in the U.S. or Canada.

You're welcome. According to their website, they now have free shipping worldwide, not just to the U.S. and Canada.

By the way, the leetmod.com website claims that their Acekard 2 is a 2.1 (which shouldn't have the problems that were present in some of the old ones). Still, some places distinguish between the 2.1 and 2.1+ (where the 2.1 is the old design with a green PCB but with better quality control and the 2.1+ has a black PCB and is a redesign which is supposed to also have slightly better battery life). You should still e-mail them to make sure theirs have the black PCB.

Note also that it appears that the one from Leetmod doesn't come with a microSD reader, so you'll need to purchase one separately if you don't have one.

The only thing about Leetmod I don't like is the price on the microSD cards there. I was stupid enough to buy one with my AK2.

Other than that, they're awesome.

Ask them to look where the contacts are and tell you what color the PCB is. The above picture has a green PCB. The newer 2.1+ has black instead of green behind the contacts, like this:

They can ship from the us as well. Thats if you want priority shipping though. And that's $7.50.It will be way faster and i think its still a pretty good deal.

I have ordered before. I just found it odd since all my 3 orders were shipped from the usa via usps.

I've also ordered from them before, used free shipping, and my orders were shipped from the U.S. to the U.S (took 2 days). That was before they offered worldwide shipping though. My guess is that if you order to the U.S. or Canada, it will be shipped from the U.S.
