Depends on how much you like the base game. Are you willing to spend your time playing through another story arch? Do you like the game enough to pay for some extra features and classes? I skipped it.

I liked it, but it really depends on how much you like the game itself. The DLC doesn't just add new story content, there are also new classes, activities in the monastery, character outfits, etc. It's definitely not essential for enjoying the game but I wouldn't say it's a waste of money either.
