Hacking about audio on the gamepad

i just wanted to know if it was possible for anyone to modify the audio that comes out of the aux on the gamepad? it sounds fine untill i plug in some headphones (they are decent headphones btw) but they sound really tinny and low in volume while using vwii.

Same here, it's an improvement from 3DS which had low max sound output, but still. I wonder if Nintendo caped the max level in order to don't cripple small speakers.

does kinda seem that way. the sound is fine from gamepad speakers but sounds really despressing through the headphones lool im just curiouse if this can be modified or if its locked out due to needing full wii u access?

If it sounds bad just over the headphone output, the audio amp/filtering circuitry in the gamepad might be subpar. I doubt they're filtering audio to sound worse on purpose.
