My advice is take it slow and just be yourself. I just recently got out of a bad relationship where things ended up getting rushed a bit and it didn't end well, and left me in a bad place financially because of some snap decisions I made. You are both still young so just enjoy this time as much as you can and keep growing closer, it'll make everything all the more sweeter both now and when you look back later.

Cuz whereas she doesn't even know something is going to happen (thus predicting the outcome of such being moot), he has something to gain, lose, or ... not.

But, seriously, you can't screw up. She's a person, not a disappearing-reappearing-block puzzle in Mega Man. At your age, with most girls, you don't have to be confident, you don't have to be ripped, smart, funny, or any of the above. Just have fun, and make sure she is too. If you do that and she still says no, then there are personal factors interfering with her decision.
