Could someone lend me a hand?
I would like to use the 2nd me!me!me! animation, but I cant make it run smoothly on my 3DS.
I tried 5, 10, 15, 30, 60 FPS (in hex ofc) in the config file, but it doesnt make a difference if have a config or dont. It always stutters.
3DSXL, A9LH, 10.7 sysNAND

Try both of these. I don't have a build from the original post so I had to take guesses. For the record though, the fps config needs to match the animation fps. With the current version halved fps lends itself pretty well for the timing.

Neither of those worked. Well, I guess, they didnt work. Could my exceptions be to high?
Should the animation on my 3DS run just as smooth as the .gif in this thread?

I dont have the time currently but I'll see what I can do when can. It's either the original animation or the payload, because your sd shouldn't bottlenecking you at all.
Please take your time. Thank you for helping me anyway. Ill try out that script, maybe I can replicate the animation myself.

Here's my first animation for this:

Click the image to download. Note that the "Touch the touchscreen to continue" text will flash in the animation. That is not reflected in the GIF preview. That was just a bug with the online gif editor I used to make the combined GIF preview image. It won't impact the animation being used on your 3DS. This animation is designed to play at 20FPS by the way. :P

I don't currently have BootAnim9 installed, so I have not tested to see if it works properly. I would like for someone to let me know if it plays correctly. ;)

Very nice.

It's a bit stuttery at the start though, especially when the two squares meet up in the top screen. Also, it doesn't fade to white completely, so the animation near the end looks cut off.

Finally, got my setup done. I know that this boot animation is a little specific, but depending on the interest, I'd be willing to make a few variations.

BootAnim9 with this GIF

BootCtr9 with this splash. Wait 2.5 sec for input or default to EmuNand.

Then, after something is selected, one of the 4 screens show with BootCtr9.

This design was originally done by @RMZK here. I modified it a bit and added few letters for AuReiNand users. I've tried to convert it to anim but not quite sure if it works as I haven't been able to test it yet.

EDIT: Made a slightly longer version and changed the config fps (seems to be smoother at 25fps) Linky
is it possible if we/i can get this but blank? it's nice but i don't like the aureinand text in english and japanese, and the picture of the girl.
thanks!
