it is because of the read speeds associated with the disc loaders...its not just you...

if you dont want laggy video use the usb_loader...

the disc backuploaders can only read at 3x speed. That's not fast enough for some movies in games
if you want smooth video, buy the original, get a modchip or use the HDD loader

Try burning the disc at 2.4x or 2x
Or try to use a different brand of disc.

I don't have a USB Flash Drive big enough to fit the whole game onto...would installing SoftMii or whatever be able to make it not laggy?

No, that will still be a softmod and limited to the slower speed.

So solution = Quit being cheap and install a chip/buy a USB HD and get USB Loader.

Hmm, could that possibly work? Like if I used really high quality disks like Taiyo Yuden? Any chance at all, or is USB loading/modchip the only way to play watch these intros normally. I notice it's also happening on Castlevania Judgement too, but funnily enough it doesn't happen in Sonic Unleashed or Black Knight.

The only way it would be possible is if someone finds a way to flash the Wii's firmware through some software means.

If it requires hardware to do, it's pointless as at that point you might as well just get a regular modchip.

It seems very unlikely at this point and time that anyone will put forth the efforts since the USBloader fixes all the problems associated with how slow everything runs.
