I modded my wii about a year ago now, homedrew, usbloader gx & d2x installer, the whole shabang. And everything still works flawless, but I wanted to download a few new wii games, so I did. I formated them properly like my others with its game id and .wbfs and all that jazz.
On usbloader gx I can see the new games, they have their names, and I can download the cover art. But when I click on the new ones to play them, the setting/start moving cover is completely black. When I click on them to play it, it kicks me back to homebrew. The strange thing is my other games still work perfectly fine. I even downloaded it from the same place I got my other game wbfs so I'm drawn at a blank. Idk why these games arnt working.
In the photots the Hell's Kitchen, game work perfectly fine along with my 5 other games, but the new one, You Don't Know Jack, does the weird thing I state in my post.
Any thoughts?

Please post a syscheck
https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/

You can try updating your cioss, usbloader, or adjusting what cios is used for each game (249,250,251,etc). Some games have unique circumstances as well, like kirby's return to dreamland requires you apply zero filters/patches, same for just dance 2 iirc, and a few other titles have other unique limitations or workarounds.

i have my games on a fat32 formatted usb stick, and all the games are in wbfs format. I'm not exactly sure of the version of usb loader I'm using but i remember it was something like 3. and than numbers or letters after it. with priiloader will my wii look black with the letters every time i turn it on? also will i have to turn on my wii like that every time? im a little scared to use it because my wii ran fine withought it before.

Non

NO, start your wii normally or start your wii as you suggested @XFlak (it's your choice)

it will work just as well as before, don't be afraid, we are here to advise you, nothing more.

EDIT:

little info:

you can have the three loaders (usb loader gx, wiiflow lite, Configurable loader v70) on your SD card, then you can choose which suits you best, that's how I work

On usbloader gx I can see the new games, they have their names, and I can download the cover art. But when I click on the new ones to play them, the setting/start moving cover is completely black. When I click on them to play it, it kicks me back to homebrew.

Several things can cause you to not be able to play your games:

either the games are corrupted

either it comes from your USB key

Recommend ==> FAT32 external hard drive and everything will be fine (look in the forum, concerning USB keys, you you will form an opinion)

After i followed the instructions on the priiloader page to a T, i than loaded up usbloader and my games start/setting screens are still black and are still kicking be back to homebrew. I'm sorry to keep bothering ya'll, I'm just am at a loss, and don't want to start all over again. let's semi start over, here's my new syscheck, maybe i messed with something while trying to fix it?

Also I'm using usbloader gx version: 3.0 r1272. I've also updated my cios like wii.guide told me too. my usb is in Fat32, my games are in wbfs format set up in a wbfs folider/gamename[ID]/gameid.wbfs. i know its not the files because they worked three days ago and for about 2 years. I've also tried my other usb with other games i know work but same result. do ya'll see anything wrong? and thanks for ya'lls help!

for your syscheck report, it's OK

You can install the two other loaders on your SD card (myself, I use the three loaders ==> it's my choice ;) ):

wiiflow lite V5.5.2==>WIIFLOW LITE

Configurable loader v70 V78.11==>CFG LOADER V70

try version 1272 MODIFIER from @blackb0x , here ==>USB LOADER GX <<== recommander

or try the 1271 GX version, here ==>GX V1271

the standard 1272 version of GX has caused some problems with some users on the forum, so avoid using it.

as I said on my previous message, it can come from your USB key.
