extract certainly does work

wbfs g extract RCP52 game.iso

replace g with your drive letter, RCP52 with your game letters and game.iso to whatever you want.

Nice port man!

Well the games are not small.Actually the games with good graphics are not small:

Umbrella chronicles 3.89gb
biohazard 0 jap 3.96gb
MADWORLD 3.39gb

Wii sports 0.62gb LOOL
Whoa, can this play rar'd / wiiscrubbed ISOs?

Just to dumb this down for some of you: (No Disrespect to anyone just trying to help)

1. You should be able to assign a drive letter as long as the drive you are working with has already been partitioned and is healthy. You can do this in from the control panel. Look for the administration icon. (It shouldn't require being formatted as FAT32). My Jump Drive was partitioned in Windows XP and formated by the usb loader. It was automatically assigned a drive letter in Windows when I plugged it in.

2. The wbfs tool is CASE sensitive on the command line entries.

3. The wbfs tool does not handle spaces in filenames ie... your iso file name, make sure it does not consist of spaces. If it does then delete the spaces or put an underscore in place _...

I hope that helps some, other than that, great tools guys. I don't play a lot of games, love the bowling, but I sure do like hacking the hell out of the wii for the fun of it.

Will work fine if you surround the filename in quotes, eg wbfs_win.exe g add "my super file.iso".

Amazing tool.

I just added Quantum of Solace, it took 2:34 and the game is 3.4 GB after its added.

Amazing speed compared to adding with a disc

hmm....I thought mine was stuck
it starts normally then it jumped from 2.xx% to 4x.xx% and stopped (my drive didn't flash also)
after 20s it started to count up and said finished, but the % is at 4x.xx%
not sure if the image works or not

Noob question! Get Ready!

So you want to format your HHD with the Usb Loader first and then try to set if up with windows? Or make a partition on Windows first and then with the USB Loader?

Both can format your drive to WBFS

Yeh same deal but i tested the game on hdd after extracting and then installing that one...........worked fine.

I think the numbers are screwed on the program when extracting.

It reads some then freezes because it's building the 4.6gb padded file.........with a bigger file it probably wouldn't freeze at all.

But seemed working 100% when tested.

Yeah, this also happened with the Cygwin Windows port. Tested with AC-CF, and it stopped at 49.5% or something. But the ISO file was full. Didn't tested it, but I guess only the numbers are screwed

One little stupid thing. It works well, but if you're getting "You need to choose a valid drive letter" or something like that, it might be what I did.

Instead of being like most programs and wanting:

wbfs F: list

This wants:

wbfs F list

without the colon. No big deal but it tripped me up for all of 15 seconds.

What works out awesome for my setup though is that it does support UNC paths for the games to add.

Hi guys, I really need some help here. I have a strange problem.

- I added a Fat32 partition to my 750Gig HDD. (80GB)
- Then I used your tool to format the 80GB partition, the drive name was I.
- I Added 2 games to it succesfully (awesome!)
- But now, waninkoko's loader is not recognizing the drive, really strange. :s

So, I reformatted to Fat32 again.
- Formatted to wbfs with waninkoko's usb loader on the wii.
- Dumped an ISO on my HDD (all via wanin's iso loader 1.0.dol) and played it succesfully.
- But now I cannot add any games to it via your app, it does not find the drive. I tried the ocmplete alfabet, also all the upper/lower cases.

Any suggestions?
