Hacking A question about bootscreens and icons

Hello community, long-time lurker here, two questions.

Is it possible to customize the bootscreens for both main + gamepad displays when you power up the console?

And is it possible to change the text and icon when you load back to the main menu ?

I have searched endlessly for something like this but I can't seem to find anything.

My purpose is to customize these things into something more sophisticated.

These sound like parts of the OS that you shouldn't fiddle with unless you know what you're doing.

Nothing like that exists yet. If you want to try and make something make sure you setup rednand. That's exactly the purpose of rednand. Play around with system settings all day long, you'll only brick your rednand if you mess up. Then just reinstall rednand. As soon as you get it right and no bricks you can test on sysnand
