Has anyone else noticed that the 3DS doesn't do well with screenshots? I here a lot about direct feed, but it doesn't quite look like direct feed to me. Obviously, as stated in every trailer, it'll only be 3D on the 3DS.

I like to use this image as an example. I think the graphics look much better on the actual 3DS. Thoughts?

It's because of the resolution difference. And since the images are much larger than they would be on the 3DS, you can see jagged edges much more easily.

Or maybe I'm wrong.

That could be the case. Is it not a direct feed then?

Just noticed. 1500 thread in the 3DS - Games & Content Forum. Woohoo

Yup, you're totally wrong.
That image is pixel for pixel the exact size of the 3DS screens, 400x240 and 360x240.

The only reason that picture doesn't look so great is because the actual jpeg compression is very lossy.

I grabbed these screens right off nintendo.co.uk, they have a slight jpeg compression but they're much sharper.

Oh by the way, you can press Win and + to zoom into these pretty nicely, if you're using Windows 7.

Didn't know he was referring to those (pixel for pixel) pictures. I guess I shouldn't be responding to threads when I'm half-asleep. ;P
