    what is the best text editor I need to make a translation
    I need to get one the best and easiest to use or whatever

    There is no such a thing as a DS Text Editor, you have to unpack the ROM, find where the text is located (And don't think it'll be a .txt file either) Open it with a hex editor, and find how the encoding works then write a program to dump the text files and write a repacker for the text files.

    any hex editor should work... i use cheat engine and NO$GBA for real time editing

    Hex work shop is really good. Too bad it doesn't have sjis support.
