Hi everyone, I am a person who loves games that are adventurous, and that have a story. Like something like tales of innocence.. and where they make you to go to this place and obtain that or this, come back, something quest-ish.

Whats a good game like that?

Well, you could look at the essentials topics, but I'll put some titles here just to help out.

Hmm... Mission/Quest orientated games...
  • Cross Treasures - Action/RPG - More of a dungeon crawler, but feels like it has Tales of Innocence's battle system somewhat. Requires translation patch.
  • Ragnarok DS - Action/RPG - A port of Ragnarok Online, except with an actual single player storyline.
  • MapleStory DS - Action/RPG/Platformer - A port of MapleStory DS, except with an actual single player storyline. Requires translation patch.
  • Soma Bringer - Action/RPG - A game that plays like Diablo, but tells a story like a Tales game. Requires translation patch.
Oops, BRB, can't think of more than 4.

play legend of kage 2. not an rpg, it's more like hack and slash side scroller. it's great, you won't regret playing it.

Try Chrono Trigger by Square. I know it's just a port of a SNES game, but it's a seriously awesome RPG with an "active turn-based battle system" that actually makes it much more interesting than a typical RPG. The story is easily one of the best I've ever seen, and the characters are simultaneously colorful and relatable. Definitely better than any of the Final Fantasy games I've played, imo. There's also this cool "new game plus" feature that you unlock once you beat it, which allows you to replay the game with all your characters at the same level, and the same items and weapons as when you beat the game normally. And there's lots of room for selective order in what you do at some points, and you unlock different endings depending on what you've done so far before beating the final boss. Seriously, check it out!

And I don't think I could honestly say they have much replay value, but the Mega Man Zero Collection and Mega Man ZX games are definitely worth checking out.

The Phoenix Wright series. It's adventurous, it has a good story, and there's questing. However, it's not an RPG, it's basically a text-based adventure game, and an exciting one at that! I had such a blast with this game when I got it back in 2005, I couldn't pull myself away from the screen. I'd never played anything like it before.

Check it out, at least watch some videos on youtube and see what you think.
