Gaming A few questions about 3DS demos

1. When you download the demos from the eShop, does the downloaded demo get saved at all in your history of downloaded content if it gets deleted?

2. After you used up all the tries for the demo can you just redownload the demo so the count is reset back to 0?

Once you download anything from the eshop, demo's included, it'll be recorded on your account log, hence, even if you delete a game or a demo you can download them again from going to your eshop management part, where you can see the previously downloaded titles...
As for the second question, for the very same reason that it gets saved into your eshop log and also the 3DS's system log, even if you download it again you'll just have the same ammount of uses you had before (if you used all of them, it won't matter if you download it again because you won't get any more plays).

So I guess theres no way to trick the 3DS into resetting the amount of times you used the demo. I know it only count the times you enter and exit but I wanted to know if there was other ways.

For now, there isn't. There might be one someday, but don't expect it soon.

As was discused on the RE thread, there i of course the question of why anybody would need/want to play any of the demo more then 30 times to begin with...

As far as I can tell the 3DS demos do not get saved onto your download history. I was hoping maybe I could play some of the demos (not all the tries), delete it cause I need room on the SD card and redownload the demo later to try it out some more (with the same amount of tries it had before.)

I dont see why that isnt possible. I'm sorry if I'm sounding like a pain in the ass.

Re-downloading it is possible, it does stay recorded in your download log, but you're able to re-download it as many times as you want, the only issue is that the ammount of tries left will be the same, lets say, you have 20 tries left, delete the game, then download it again and you will still have the 20 tries.
If your issue was about if you can download it after deleting it, sure, you can, just like a normal eshop game you buy (even if you delete them, you can always re-download them for free since you already paid for it).
