Gaming A connection error has occured. (FFFFFFFF) Help!

I just recently bought a PSP 3001 for the first time and it came with (6.20, yea i know >.

That error code is an Update error....apparently the connection should still work if it's set up correctly.

Only thing you can really do is to restore factory settings to effect a flash1 format.

Thanks for the suggestion. But Funny coz resetting the modem somehow did the trick. Though I have another question to make (hate making new thread).

I have a game UMD but whenever I put it in my psp 3k.. it's kinda making this sound like its whirring sound or in some point seems scratching or something when the game is loading but when I check the UMD, it seems fine .. Is this normal to all psp 3000s? or is there some sort of defect..?

The UMD drive does indeed make a whirring, kerrr-click! kind of noise as it works. Your best bet is to either look for some videos on youtube or ask for a demo at the shop you bought it from. It's difficult to be accurate about something that subjective.

Ok cool thanks.. I just did a research about it and I believe that's pretty normal for psp 3000 to make that sound although I'm not comfortable with it.. so I guess getting a sealed headphone will do it lol..
