A 3DS tour with Mario as your guide

Nintendo has released a 3DS tour video featuring Mario (Charles Martinet) as the guide voice.
This is the first time "Mario" has actually talked in full voice for a lengthy period of time, instead of quick snips of voices.

Not the first time. But this is the first time he voiced an ad for something. Usually when he speaks with the full voice, it's for Q&A or publicity events.

It's a resistive touch screen like the old DSes and only detects one touch point at a time.

Oh, so that's why Mario only talks in short phrases throughout the games, any longer and your ears start to bleed. Not that the voice is bad, but it's a voice that can only be heard for so long before it starts grating on your ears.
