yes, they are waiting for SciresM to release an update for Atmosphere so they can steal the fix

Can you just please stop bringing this up. We all know they did steal, and we all know they come up their own ideas too. It is just F... boring to read the same thing over and over again.

Weren't we told way back that the hardware exploit could "never ever" be patched out? Yet here we are?

This hasn't patched that exploit. This update changed how the Switch generates its keys which CFW uses to decrypt things and function.

2 completely different things!

You can still enter RCM and send a payload - but CFW will just flat out not work.

Well, that's ok- OH NO, PLEASE NOT THE SX VERSION WITH AUTO GAME CARD EJECTING, IT SUCKS

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

well, SX sucks, not just that, I only use it because of HDD XCI support

a little inconsistent are you. "it sucks...I only use it because of this really cool feature..." rofl

Well RIP my 6.1.0 since I was starting Let's GO: Pikachu without looking and double tapped "Update" rather than "Start Software"

So the cat and mouse of the scene continues! RCM exploit really screwed over Ninty, just as long as your system has the hardware exploit...there will always be a chance to bypass any software solutions Ninty puts in place! Most important thing is to take care of your console...although TX just spit some big game with the new Beta announcement...seems like the new "unhackable" is not unhackable!!

It’s nothing to really worry about it’s just a new keygen I’d give tx a week or two. The others maybe a bit longer

If you're referring to the Ipatched unites they have been saying they are working on a workaround since 2, maybe three versions ago, yet have presented no evidence of such a fix even being in the works. I wouldn't hold my breath

Probably holding off till the full revision comes out to reduce releases. I would’ve thought someone would’ve found something by now

Why is everyone so quick to update an OS, especially when you're using CFW and it's Nin before a major release/Holiday season coming. What the hell do you think their priority in updates are going to be?!

It's only been out a few hours and if people have already updated without checking if there are changes they kinda deserve to be stuck without SX OS for a while.

Everything leading up a CFW doesn't have to be a single exploit. The hardware flaw will *always* be there, but there's more to it than that. You could nuke your NAND, and you'd still be able to run code through RCM.

What we really need is nand running off a usb flash drive or sd card. Full emulation. Then you dont even need to touch the NAND. The nand can be nuked as you said and it would not matter, Hell a small usb flash drive could be installed in the switch its self complete with its own RCM payload that auto boots the firmware running on theusb flash drive. it can draw its power off the battery. SO no stupid charging a super cap. As long as the battery has juice it loads rcm
