Damn it. I have no UMDs. But hey, even Disgaea 2 was said to need a UMD, yet it worked even without. Who knows, maybe someone will find a solution.

Upgrade to 5.50 GEN-B2. I have upgraded and now it works like a charm.

I believe the issue is all the LBAs get reset when you drag the new EBOOT in which gives a black screen. May want to redo all the games we've reported as failed.
