Gaming 5.55

Damn it. I have no UMDs. But hey, even Disgaea 2 was said to need a UMD, yet it worked even without. Who knows, maybe someone will find a solution.

plz try persona on m33 as that's the only reason i'll even bother with 5.55 and above games

I tried Persona PSP on both 5.00 M33-6 and 5.50 GEN-B, and had no luck with either of them. Yet someone said they got it working with a random UMD.

I'm going to hold off a few days until there is a comprehensive list of what does and doesn't work.

well i have this save files UMD from when i bought an accessories pack, so if that'll work, then it's fine XD

I'm getting the new Naruto game that came out that needed 5.55 and Persona will report back in a half a hour.

Trying to fix up GT and Persona now. Will let you know if Persona needs a UMD. (After I just erased the file....smh...)

Disgaea 2 Dark Hero Days doesn't work on 5.00 M33-6.

Seems some games will work on M33 but not all.

I'm gonna try more 5.55 games.

Upgrade to 5.50 GEN-B2. I have upgraded and now it works like a charm.

Yeah I know it works on 5.50 GEN-B2 I just downgraded to 5.00M33-6 to see if it would work on there.

No go on Persona With Gen-B2 using all ISO Modes with and w/out a UMD

Well i'm back and heres what happen
Firmware:Gen-B2
Iso mode:Every one
With UMD
"Naruto Shippuden Legends Akatsuki Rising":Nothing blackscreen then kicks back to XMB
"Persona":Same as Naruto Shippuden

Well, I got Persona [US] to work on my 5.50GEN-B PSP 1000

I needed to add an extra step in the rebuild of the ISO

Load the Clean ISO. Go to File>File List>Export

Save it as Filelist.txt

Replace the EBOOT.BIN

Go to File>File List>Import

Choose Filelist.txt

Select YES to forcing LBAs, then Save.

Game should run fine

I believe the issue is all the LBAs get reset when you drag the new EBOOT in which gives a black screen. May want to redo all the games we've reported as failed.

Lol, well i found a copy of ATV for PSP for only 4 bucks nabbed it and am about to start downloading some stuff. Also a question, to go from M33 to Gen, all you need to do is download the installer right?

tried persona U with AnalogMan's steps in m33 5.00-6 on m33 and sony driver, doesn't work....

Anyone know if it's possible to upgrade to 5.50GEN-B then back down to 5.00 M33? i'd rather not use pandora either...
