I'm probably one of the few that think that most of this is just misunderstood intentions. All it takes is one person to misinterpret light teasing to hype up a scene coupled with later difficulties to start a whole slew of people down the path that the devs are just showing off. Most of the users, i think, just have misinformation. At least imo. In any case, contrary to popular belief, devs aren't omnipotent. They're normal people with the skills to benefit the community, and when their work gets slandered or taken for granted they have every right to get miffed over it. And sure, at that point they might actually flaunt a little just to prove a point. I probably would too if people talked all that good shit about how im full of shit and how fake my work is, pics or it didn't happen, etc, then started yelling at me later down the road about deadlines or flaunting when they really are just progress updates.

I don't believe there is a single dev who people don't shit talk around here. At some point you have to question whether it's the devs, or the people themselves. Either the ones spreading rumors themselves, or those regurgitating it without ever actually looking into it themselves. I bet more than half of the people who complain about the devs don't even know the full story, and only heard of "what they did" from other members who also in turn heard it from someone else, and the other half just half just dislike them for one reason or another. Either ideals over piracy or what have you

i can agree with most of that. my argument is based on what ive seen said in this thread. and guess who started it? whats truly sad is that we're all suppose to be on the same team. im not sure exactly whats different here then the other scenes ive been involved with, but its getting progressively worse.

It's not rude at all.
If most people that complain here would at least have enough skill or at least have a basic understanding about coding and exploiting systems then they could call themselfs members of the SCENE.
The sad truth is that 99% of the leeches here just want piracy and are such ignorant that they don't even understand how much pressure they are putting on the devs.
Most of you guys want free games - fine.
But devs have also a life which is Reallife.
Accept it and be patient and maybe you can get a benefit from it.
If not and if you never contributed something to your so called SCENE then just shut up.
Why do you keep saying "you" like you're referring to me? I didnt set any expectations for devs, or have any stake in their exploit as ive already said.
Also, if the right to speak is based on involvement, you have less of a right to speak then me. not to mention you cant even read a few post back before jumping into an argument and invalidating your own point.

first of all I never mentioned your name to be precise I said "most of you guys".
If you think you are meant then this is your problem.
second, I'm following this forum since several years now as a reader.
I lately registered here to help some newbies out with the basics, but I would never call my self a member of the scene, even tho I know how to code as I started over 20 years ago with Motorola MC68000 assembler.
A scene member is an active member working on lowlevel on hardware and exploits.
such people are the ones that have my full respect, not such people that only register to take their own benefits out of the devs and findings.
Respect the devs and we all will benefit from our loved hardware if we are in the end able to make more interesting stuff with it.
I for myself would wish to be able to install a linux on my Wii U like I have it on the Ps3.
Most people here just don't get it that devs don't want you to obey and call them masters or gods.
For them it's just a proof-of-concept that they kindly share with us.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Sure the scene can be a piss match at times... However, I can assure you the big boys actually know what they're talking about. How do you think anything ever gets leaked if it's all fake?
Well lets be honest, when it comes to hacks (and piracy, once again totally admitting my want for it for a few games) the community (both the overly pissed and sensitive devbase who have been greatly annoyed and just butthurt because they ran out of points to justify themselves and the needy userbase who just cant shut up (it even infected me because i cant stop stressing this)) on gbatemp has their moments when they are just the worst and the most basic laws of common sense and opinion-exchange fly out of the window to do some good ol'fashioned kindergardening...

And here is my obligatory "lets stop this, we are offtopic" moment where i apologize for taking part in being offtopic

I am the original poster. If any mods are reading this, I said on page 1 that my question was answered and the thread should be closed. This has turned into a shitstorm that I in no way intended.

To the people that said that they want Kodi and not pirating games, Kodi is also a pirate service, you know?
If you are legal like you said, use Netflix and Hulu Plus and/or buy the BluRays of each movie and series.

Lol I've had Kernal access since 2.1 and its not patched. Really guys, I really do have it, and I dont use it for piracy, and I have it. Not releasing it though because everyone else is working on it and already have it too. Theres absolutely no way releasing what I have done now will help anyone at all.

In that case, release the completed exploit!

You guys simply don't get it, right?

Even if Hykem would release the ISOU exploit now... What could you do with it without homebrew/loader etc. that can use the exploit?
Are you a talented enough coder to write your usb-loader? I'm not and I'm a coder since over 20 years.

It would be like giving a computer to a caveman, he won't be able to use it and so would you guys with the exploit...

@Cyan can you now please close this thread, it's turning to a playground for kindergarden kids...
