I totally get your frustration. It did seem like the release was imminent and now who knows.I guess, you are right of course. I wish there was something I could do to forget about the jailbreak. I sold my Ps3 stupid stupid stupid.
IMO at this stage you're not that much worse off just playing the couple of exclusives and selling it, and playing the multiplats on PC. If in a year or two there are more better exclusives, just try to find a cheap one and do the same again, and sell it once you finished them. I live in Pakistan. You can't find a decent graphics card for less than $500 so.
I tried to get Gtx 1050 the guy did not budge from $460.
I got the ps4 for $300

You can't order online from other countries? How long ago did you last look for a card?
I know around here very recently many used cards have dropped back down to retail cost. 1050/ti are still a little high because of there popularity but you can get 1060 for the same price or rx560 for less. anything above 1060 has a huge price jump though.
I chose to update my system simply because i had a psvr going to waste, and wanted to access psn content for it, now that price for pc are becoming somewhat affordable again Im going to build a vr setup while waiting for 5.05 kern then when it drops I will get rid of my updated ps4 for a hackable one.

Nope can't order online, there is no PayPal in our country. And I checked for the cards 2 months ago when I bought the ps4.
Again it was only the card rest of the stuff is still missing, casing hdd etc.
PS4 when in rest mode pass the execution from the principal APU to a secondary ARM CPU with a completely separate firmware/OS and was demonstrated that this firmware/OS was less robust than what is used by the APU (game OS)...
The tweet suggested that the rest mode exploit will give 5.01 a fairly persistent hack, whereas 5.05 will need to keep running a hack (probably web sploit) each time.
Thanks, so i will stay on 5.01 if there will be a option to choose between 5.01 and 5.05. Sounds promising even when i dont understand much from that
